Salamander Sunday is March 31 at Paynetown
Indiana Ag Connection - 03/18/2019

Learn everything you wanted to know about salamanders at Paynetown SRA on March 31 during Salamander Sunday. Four programs will help you understand the salamander's environment, habitat and behavior.

Two programs are open to everyone with no registration needed: a salamander survey at 8 a.m. at Stillwater Marsh, and a woodland salamander exploration at 3 p.m.

Two other programs require advance registration by March 27. The first is a presentation on the salamanders of southern Indiana, which is limited to 25 people, at 10:30 a.m. The second is a salamander craft session, which is limited to 16 children, at 1 p.m.

Complete details on all four programs, including meeting locations and registration links for the two programs that require advance signup, are at http://bit.ly/salamandersunday2019.

Salamander Sunday programs are free. There is no fee to enter the property during the winter season.

Paynetown SRA (on.IN.gov/monroelake) is at 4850 South State Road 446, Bloomington.
