Indiana Ag Connection - 06/18/2018

See live birds of prey at Summit Lake State Park on June 22. The event runs from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harvey Shelter.

The birds are from the Salamonie Lake Raptor Center. Visitors can learn what an Eastern screech owl sounds like, look into the eyes of a red-tailed hawk, and discover how these birds contribute to the environment.

Donations will be accepted for bird care.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The program is free after paying the standard gate fee of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle.

For more information call (765) 766-5873 or visit stateparks.IN.gov/2967.htm.

Summit Lake State Park is located at 5993 N. Messick Road, New Castle.
