Pigeon River FWA to Host Family Fun Dy
Indiana Ag Connection - 08/15/2017
A free family fun day at Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area on Aug. 19 offers the chance to shoot firearms and archery equipment, see live wildlife, go fishing and more.
"Beyond the Road, Family Fun Day" runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., near the property office.
Additional activities include booths on outdoor recreation, a chance to see conservation officer equipment and meet a police dog, learn wildlife information and more.
Partners include Indiana National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Fur Takers of America and LaGrange County Parks. Registration is required onsite, but all activities are free.
