In order to promote community health and “growing local,” the Purdue Extension office has kits of free garden seed packets available for folks interested in growing their own garden for the upcoming year. Each package contains roughly 20-25 seed packets, as well as instructions on setting up and maintaining your garden.
This is a great opportunity for individuals wanting start a garden for the first time or wanting to help their families grow their own food. For gardening information of all types, visit the Purdue Extension “Gardening Bulletins” website at https://www.purdue.edu/hla/sites/yardandgarden/gardening-bulletins/.
