Purdue Agronomy Online Student Panel Discussion May 2025

By Andi Anderson

Purdue University’s Agronomy e-Learning Academy is hosting an online Crop Professional Certificate Student Panel Discussion on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 12 noon. This event is designed to provide participants with valuable insights into the evolving agricultural sector.

The panel will feature Purdue students, faculty members, and support staff. Together, they will share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on current challenges and opportunities in agriculture.

Attendees will learn about the diverse career pathways available in the field and hear firsthand from current and former students about their journeys and advice.

Participants will also receive an overview of the Agronomy e-Learning Academy’s curriculum, including its specialized tracks and how the online format supports career advancement. The session includes a live question-and-answer segment, allowing attendees to engage directly with panelists and get answers to their specific queries.

Those interested are encouraged to register early to reserve their place. If unable to attend the live discussion, registrants will receive a recording to watch at their convenience.

A special early-bird discount of $200 is offered for those who sign up by May 21, 2025. Classes for the Crop Professional Certificate program will begin on June 4, 2025.

Agronomy e-Learning Academy students qualify for the Chapter 33 Post-9/11 GI Bill benefit. For questions related to benefits or the program, participants can contact the program administrator for assistance.

This event is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to expand their knowledge of agriculture, explore career options, and learn about Purdue’s online educational offerings in crop sciences.
