92% of Indiana Corn, 88% of Soybeans Planted


The USDA says another dry week left many farmers hoping for rain in Indiana.

Topsoil moisture is rated 40 percent very short to short and subsoil moisture is rated 35 percent very short to short.

Ninety-two percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, 71 percent of the crop has emerged, and 72 percent is rated good to excellent.
