- 8 p.m. — Adjournment
Highlighted speakers for the evening include Ronnie Boehm, IFC spokesperson, and Zack Ireland, owner of Freshly Dairy. Both will share insights into the pivotal role of forages in their respective livestock businesses.
Jason Tower, IFC president and superintendent at the Southern Indiana Purdue Agricultural Center, expresses excitement about the event, stating, “The interaction between the tour hosts, speakers, and event attendees is always a highlight at the IFC annual meeting and seminars. These contacts can turn into great mentors for each other as ideas are shared and relationships are built.”
Keith Johnson, professor of agronomy at Purdue, encourages participation, saying, “Participating in the Indiana Forage Council’s tour of Freshly Dairy, annual meeting, meal, awards program, and seminar will be a great way to meet new people, renew acquaintances and learn new developments in forage-livestock agriculture.”
