Indiana Grown unveils a $30,000 grant initiative to support members in showcasing their commercially ready products at tradeshows. Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, emphasizes the significance of tradeshows for businesses to tap into new markets. The grant, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, focuses on reimbursing expenses related to booth space, design, shipping, and other trade show fees.
Tradeshows provide a unique platform for exposure to diverse customers and B2B clients, but financial barriers often limit small businesses. This grant aims to alleviate these costs, ensuring Indiana-made products gain recognition across the U.S. and the globe. The eligibility criteria include Indiana Grown membership, a commercially ready product with existing sales, and being classified as a small business by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Excitement surrounds the program's potential to contribute to the success and growth of Indiana Grown products and businesses. Caroline Patrick, Indiana Grown Director, expresses enthusiasm, marking the ninth year of the program.
