Exciting Updates at ASAC 2024 Conference

By Andi Anderson

The upcoming 2024 Annual Conference of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants (ASAC) is set to be an informative and engaging event, featuring a lineup of speakers and diverse topics. Scheduled to take place in Fort Myers, Fla., from November 3rd to 5th, the conference promises valuable insights into the agricultural industry's legal, technological, and personal dimensions.

Among the distinguished speakers slated to present, Rusty Rumley, JD, LL.M, of the National Ag Law Center, will offer attendees an update on the ever-evolving legal and policy landscape of the agricultural sector during the session on November 4th.

Chrissy Wozniak, Founder of North American Ag, renowned for her expertise in enhancing consultants' web presence, will delve into additional business improvement strategies, focusing on "Leveraging Technology to Efficiently Build Your Brand" during her presentation on November 5th.

Don Tyler, Owner of Tyler & Associates, will share his insights on transitioning from consultant to counselor, addressing the intricacies of providing guidance on more personal matters—a topic requested by participants following his engaging session at the 2023 conference.

The conference program will encompass a wide array of topics, including updates on the citrus industry's global impact, trends in land values, developments in the cattle industry, as well as discussions on consulting ethics and more.

As the organizing committee finalizes the speaker lineup and session schedules, attention will soon turn to planning the Tuesday afternoon agricultural tours, providing attendees with hands-on experiences and networking opportunities.

For those attending, accommodation details have been arranged at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers Gulf Coast, with a special conference rate of $169 per night. Further conference information, including sponsorship opportunities, will be made available on the ASAC website as details are confirmed.
