Individuals interested in modern farming technologies will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and valuable knowledge at the Hydroponic Crop Production Workshop hosted by Purdue University.
The educational event is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of hydroponic crop production and provide hands-on learning experiences that can be applied in both home and commercial growing environments.
The workshop will be held on September 19 and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Greenhouse located on the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. The event aims to help participants better understand hydroponic production systems and their growing importance in modern agriculture.
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using nutrient-rich water solutions to provide crops with the essential elements needed for growth.
