Indiana's 2022 winter wheat production is forecast at 20.5 million bushels, according to Nathanial Warenski, state statistician, USDA NASS, Indiana Field Office. This report is based on conditions as of July 1, 2022.

Some highlights of the Crop Production Report follow:

- The Indiana winter wheat yield is forecast at 82 bushels per acre, down 3 bushels from last year but up 4 bushels from last month's forecast. As of June 26, 32 percent of the crop was harvested.
