Marketing Internship Available from AAEA



AAEA The Ag Communicators Network is excited to announce that it is accepting applications through April 18 for one marketing internship with Vive Crop Protection for the summer of 2022.

Vive Crop Protection is looking for a driven, creative self-starter with an interest in agriculture marketing and communications. A marketing intern will assist with the day-to-day marketing and communication needs of a company on the rise. Vive's intern will be involved in social media, customer relations, marketing strategy, and much more.

"If you know of a student who has a passion for our profession, is a skillful communicator, and is eager to learn from a vibrant company in the agriculture industry, please pass along this opportunity," says Megan Schilling, chair of the Future Ag Communicators committee.

This is a remote internship (with possibility of travel for hands-on experience) in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment. Applicable interns must be an undergraduate student studying marketing, communications, public relations or another applicable field and an interest in agriculture is preferred.

This opportunity will provide a range of experiences including:

  • Running social media platforms daily
    • content creation, scheduling, and running analytics reports
  • Capturing consumer testimonials
    • relationship-building, interviewing, video editing
  • Utilizing a CRM and CMS tool efficiently and effectively
  • Positioning a product in the ag space, and much more

Candidates should be familiar and efficient with social media platforms, Microsoft Suite, and possess basic photography skills.

The intern will earn a $4,500 stipend for the 8- to 10-week assignment, $1,000 toward travel costs as well as a paid registration to attend Agricultural Media Summit in Raleigh, North Carolina from July 16-20, 2022.

The marketing internship is made possible through AAEA The Ag Communicators Network's Professional Improvement Foundation.
