The agricultural community in Bunker Hill, Indiana, welcomes a significant enhancement in farm machinery service with the opening of a new CLAAS FARMPOINT™ service center. Previously located in Kokomo, the new facility in Bunker Hill expands service offerings and serves as a headquarters for CLAAS FARMPOINT’s technicians and parts runners.
"Remote machinery monitoring adds even more efficiency for our customers," said Patricio Frangella, Head of Commercial Development.
This innovative service center, the second of its type in North America, features a remote service support center and a hub for machinery monitoring. Located conveniently off US-31 N, the 10-acre site enhances service capacity significantly over the former Kokomo location, offering immediate parts availability and extensive support for various farm machinery brands.
CLAAS FARMPOINT’s model shifts away from traditional machinery dealerships, prioritizing proximity and mobile service to meet farmers’ needs effectively. The Bunker Hill center not only contributes to the local economy but also marks a vital expansion for CLAAS, a global leader in farm machinery manufacturing.
Frangella expressed enthusiasm about integrating into the Bunker Hill business community, highlighting the area's deep agricultural roots. The new facility promises to maximize uptime and productivity for farmers, embodying CLAAS FARMPOINT’s commitment to innovative and responsive farm service solutions.
