The USDA says ideal fieldwork conditions allowed planting to move forward last week in Indiana.
Fifty-six percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, 20 percentage points ahead of the one-year average. Twenty-two percent of the crop is emerged.
Fifty-two percent of soybeans are planted, 27 percentage points ahead of the one-year average. Eighteen percent of the crop is emerged.
