AgriVision Award Honors Indiana Agriculture Visionaries


Cindy Hoye and Beth Archer were honored with the AgriVision Award, the state's highest agricultural honor, at the Indiana State Fair. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to agriculture and their communities.

Hoye has served as the executive director of the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center since 1988. Under her leadership, the fairgrounds has been transformed into a premier year-round gathering place. She has overseen major renovations, including a $63 million renovation to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Hoye is also dedicated to showcasing Indiana agriculture and youth. She has overseen barn renovations and strategic enhancements to the Blue-Ribbon Pavilion and Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion.

Archer has been the executive director of AgriInstitute since 1992. AgriInstitute is an organization that prepares leaders to advance agriculture and serve the industry's related communities. Archer has been instrumental in developing the Indiana Agriculture Leadership Program (ALP), a prestigious program that fosters leadership and personal development amongst agriculture leaders. Archer's leadership has resulted in ALP becoming a premier leadership program that connects agricultural professionals and propels the industry forward.

Hoye and Archer are both visionaries who have made significant contributions to Indiana agriculture. Their dedication, passion, and commitment are an inspiration to others. The AgriVision Award is a well-deserved honor for these two outstanding leaders.
