The Indiana Farm Bureau is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program designed to support education leadership and community involvement in agriculture.
These scholarships help students, members and adults continue learning while strengthening Indiana’s agricultural future. The deadline to apply for all available scholarships is March 1.
One of the key opportunities offered is the Ag Impact Scholarship program. Three scholarships are awarded each year to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue careers in agriculture. Each selected student receives $2000 to support educational expenses.
Applicants are expected to show strong involvement in youth development programs such as 4-H or FFA along with leadership experience.
To qualify, students must be high school seniors and must have maintained Farm Bureau membership either personally or through immediate family for the past three consecutive years.
Indiana Farm Bureau also provides Collegiate Farm Bureau scholarships for students already enrolled in higher education. Two $1000 scholarships are awarded annually to students who are active members of a collegiate Farm Bureau chapter.
Eligible students must attend Purdue University, Vincennes University or Huntington University and demonstrate ongoing engagement in agricultural leadership activities. These funds may be used for tuition housing books and other approved education related costs.
In addition to student-focused awards, the organization offers a Career Enrichment Scholarship. This opportunity is available to adults aged 21 and older who wish to enhance their careers through continued education.
The scholarship provides one thousand dollars and can be applied toward workshops seminars degree programs or credit and noncredit classes. Funds are distributed after proof of qualifying educational expenses is submitted.
