Farm bureau organizations in Indiana are preparing to host community centered events that will bring families together while supporting agriculture and local involvement.
These gatherings highlight the importance of fellowship, shared values and participation in county level agricultural activities.
In Jay County, a family fun night is planned for farm bureau members and their families. The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at the Bryant Wesleyan Church, 209 S.
Members of the Jay County Farm Bureau are invited to attend and enjoy an evening focused on togetherness and enjoyment.
The gathering reflects the organization’s core values of faith, family and farming which guide its community activities and outreach efforts.
The family fun night is designed to provide a relaxed environment where members can spend quality time together outside of daily work responsibilities. Activities and fellowship opportunities encourage stronger connections among families while reinforcing the role of agriculture in the local community.
Events like this help create a welcoming space for all ages and promote unity among farm families.
In Adams County, another major event will take place on the same evening. The Adams County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting in partnership with the Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District.
The meeting will be hosted at the Adams County Fairgrounds Expo Hall and will bring together members from both organizations.
This joint event known as ‘Agstravaganza’, allows each group to conduct official business while also sharing leadership roles throughout the evening.
Representatives will take turns guiding the program and providing entertainment creating an engaging experience for attendees.
By combining meetings, the organizations promote cooperation efficiency and shared goals related to agriculture conservation and community development.
