The Indiana Ag Law Foundation invites agricultural professionals, attorneys, and landowners to attend its Agricultural Contracting Program on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon via Zoom.
The virtual event will cover the fundamentals of agricultural contracts and renewable energy leasing, with 3 CLE credits approved for participating legal professionals.
The program is free for Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB) members. Nonmembers were able to register for a $50 fee. Pre-registration was required and had to be completed by Tuesday, June 24.
This informative webinar features three key sessions led by agricultural law experts:
- Agricultural Contracting Basics by Todd Janzen of Janzen Schroeder Ag Law, who will walk through legal foundations for farm contracts.
- Agricultural Contracts by Harrison M. Pittman from the National Agricultural Law Center, covering types and uses of agricultural production contracts.
- Renewable Energy Contracts by Brianna Schroeder, also of Janzen Schroeder Ag Law, focusing on leasing land for solar and wind energy projects.
The event will offer vital legal knowledge for farmers, landowners, and ag lawyers. Topics will help attendees make informed decisions about production agreements and energy opportunities.
