The Indiana Ag Law Foundation is sponsoring a free educational webinar for Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB) members titled the Agricultural Contracting Program.
The virtual event will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon via Zoom. Nonmembers are welcome to attend with a $50 registration fee.
The webinar is designed to help farmers, landowners, and ag professionals understand the key differences between farmland leases and production contracts.
Speakers will also explain why it is essential to have legally binding agreements in place when working within the agriculture industry.
Understanding these differences is important for those involved in leasing farmland or entering into any kind of production arrangement. The session will provide legal insight into how contracts protect all parties involved and help ensure clarity, fairness, and long-term success in farming relationships.
Registration for the event opens Thursday, May 22, and will close on Tuesday, June 24. Participants must register ahead of time to receive the Zoom link and additional program details.
This webinar is a valuable opportunity for both experienced and new farmers to improve their legal knowledge related to agricultural operations. For nonmembers, the $50 fee still provides strong value for access to legal experts and practical advice.
The Agricultural Contracting Program helps ensure that farmers and landowners make informed decisions that protect their interests and promote responsible agricultural practices. To register, visit the Indiana Ag Law Foundation website or follow updates through INFB communications channels.
