Gripp, a technology company focused on farm operations, has claimed the top prize in the 2025 Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge. The company secured $100,000 in funding to grow its innovative digital platform that simplifies recordkeeping and communication for farmers.
Led by Indiana Farm Bureau member Tracey Wiedmeyer, Gripp helps farmers track equipment, manage tasks, and improve team communication. The platform is designed to be operator-focused, making it easy for farm workers and managers to stay connected and organized in real time.
Gripp stood out among four national finalists at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual convention, earning recognition for its unique approach to improving everyday farm management. The Challenge, now in its 11th year, supports Farm Bureau members with fresh ideas that bring technology and agriculture together.
The contest is a partnership between the American Farm Bureau Federation and Farm Credit, aiming to highlight innovation in agriculture and support ag entrepreneurs with funding and exposure.
“Winning the Challenge is a big step forward for us,” said Wiedmeyer. “It shows how important practical tools are for farmers who need fast, reliable ways to manage their operations.”
Gripp’s win highlights a growing trend of digital solutions designed to make farming more efficient and connected. With the award funding, the company plans to expand its reach and improve its tools for farm operators across the country.
The Ag Innovation Challenge continues to be a valuable stage for showcasing the future of agriculture, and Gripp’s success is proof that farmer-driven innovation is thriving.
