Indiana Grown Hosts Showcase for Local Food Buyers

Indiana Grown, the state's premier initiative promoting locally grown and produced agricultural products, is set to host an exclusive showcase event aimed at fostering support for Indiana businesses. This one-day event will bring together over 60 Indiana Grown members, offering their retail and wholesale products to food buyers, restaurants, hospitals, schools, and more.

WHAT: A one-day showcase featuring Indiana Grown products that are retail and wholesale ready, with vendors sampling their offerings.

WHO: More than 60 Indiana Grown businesses will be participating in the event.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from noon to 4 p.m. ET.

WHERE: The showcase will take place at the Monroe County Convention Center, located at 302 S. College Ave., Bloomington, IN 47403.

RSVP: This event is by invitation only for attendees. Members of the media are welcome to attend, but please RSVP to indianagrown@isda.in.gov by April 18, 2024.

The goal of this showcase is to highlight the diverse array of products available from Indiana Grown businesses, emphasizing their readiness for both retail and wholesale markets. By connecting buyers with local producers, Indiana Grown aims to strengthen the local economy and promote sustainable practices within the state's agricultural industry.
