Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture have announced the winners of the 2025 Indiana Agriculture Photo Contest. Now in its 17th year, the contest celebrates the dedication, beauty, and variety found in the state’s farming communities.
Beckwith, who also serves as Indiana’s secretary of agriculture and rural development, praised the participants for capturing “unique and special moments” that reflect the heart of Hoosier agriculture.
The contest drew hundreds of entries from across the state, with photos judged on creativity, composition, and how well they represented one of four categories: Agritourism, Conservation, Faces of Agriculture, and On the Farm.
Two winners were chosen from each category, and two were selected overall. All photographs had to be taken in Indiana by state residents.
The 2025 winners are:

- “A Fruitful Day of Picking Delicious Apples” – Katlyn Sipkema, Fair Oaks

ISDA Director Don Lamb said each submission “highlights the hard work behind the scenes, the hands that feed us each day, and the beauty of Indiana.”
The winning photos will be displayed in the lieutenant governor’s Family of Business offices in Indianapolis throughout the year, offering visitors a visual celebration of Indiana agriculture.
