Leading FFA partners to be honored

By Andi Anderson

During the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo, held from October 23-26 in Indianapolis, four corporate partners will be honored with the prestigious Distinguished Service Citation.

The companies—Ball Horticultural Company, Blue Diamond Growers, Domino’s Pizza LLC, and Wrangler—have significantly contributed to National FFA’s mission of youth leadership and agricultural education.

Ball Horticultural Company has been a committed partner for over a decade, supporting the floriculture career development event.

They provide essential materials for the competition and allow employees to serve as judges. Additionally, the company produces detailed growing procedure videos that help participants meet industry standards in floriculture.

Since 2017, Blue Diamond Growers has made a significant impact on FFA’s Give the Gift of Blue Program, contributing over $175,000 in matching funds. Their efforts, combined with support from various stakeholders, have enabled California FFA to distribute over 5,000 Blue Jackets to members in need.

Domino’s Pizza LLC has been a corporate sponsor since 2017, actively participating in leadership events like the CEO roundtable and serving on the National FFA Foundation Sponsors' Board. The company also engages with FFA at various levels, supporting programs and scholarships that benefit FFA members.

Wrangler has deepened its relationship with FFA over the past three years, leveraging partnerships with celebrities like Trace Adkins and Kendra Scott to raise awareness and funds. They have also used their media communications team to further promote FFA’s mission.

These partnerships showcase the dedication of corporate leaders to fostering agricultural education and youth development across the United States.

The National FFA Organization continues to thrive with the support of these key contributors, helping over 1 million student members grow into future leaders.
