Lt. Governor to Join Indiana Pork for Ham Donation

On Nov. 16, Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch will join Heather Hill, Indiana pig farmer and president of the National Pork Board; and Fred Glass, president and CEO of Gleaners Food Bank; to make a sizeable ham donation to help feed hungry Hoosiers.

The donation will take place at 2:30 p.m. with comments by Crouch, Hill and Glass. Bruce Kettler, Indiana state department of agriculture director, will also attend.

The donation kicks off Indiana Pork's Give-a-Ham campaign, encouraging Hoosiers to give a ham to their local food pantry, favorite charity or a neighbor in need ahead of the holiday season.

The event will take place at Gleaners Food Bank, 3737 Waldemere Ave Suite 200, Indianapolis.
