Purdue Ag Alumni Tailgate to Offer Free Food and Fun

By Andi Anderson

The 2025 Purdue Ag Alumni Tailgate is set to welcome football fans, alumni, and students on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the tailgate will take place in the popular Tailgate Lot, offering a lively gathering before the Purdue-Southern Indiana football game.

Indiana Farm Bureau is proudly sponsoring this community event, aiming to connect with Purdue alumni, students, and fans. The event promises to be a celebration of school spirit, agriculture, and football fun.

One of the highlights of this event is the complimentary food and drinks provided to all guests who pre-register. While the tailgate itself is free with registration, attendees must purchase separate tickets if they wish to attend the football game afterward.

In addition to delicious food and beverages, the tailgate will feature exciting giveaways for participants. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for alumni and students to reconnect, meet new people, and enjoy a festive atmosphere together.

The tailgate is designed to bring together members of the Purdue community and agricultural supporters in a relaxed and welcoming environment. With Indiana Farm Bureau’s involvement, the event also serves as a platform to strengthen ties between agriculture supporters and the broader Purdue family.

Purdue’s Ag Alumni tailgate tradition continues to be a much-anticipated event, offering an ideal setting for socializing before cheering on the home team. The blend of free food, refreshments, and community spirit makes it a must-attend occasion for anyone connected to Purdue or passionate about agriculture and football.

Make sure to pre-register to enjoy all the benefits and be part of this special day. The Purdue Ag Alumni Tailgate is more than a gathering — it’s a celebration of community, tradition, and school pride.
