The Purdue Women in Agriculture Team is excited to announce the upcoming Ag Women Engage Conference, a pivotal annual event dedicated to educating and empowering women across all facets of the agricultural industry. Taking place on February 22, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Grande Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, IN, the conference promises enriching experiences for participants.
The event features engaging pre-conference workshops, with a keynote address by Amanda Radke, whose presentation is themed "Plant & Prune the Family Ag Business to Reap a Bountiful Harvest." Attendees will have the chance to delve into breakout sessions covering diverse topics such as commodity marketing, financial management, land leases, stress management, and succession planning.
Participants can choose two morning and two afternoon breakout sessions during the registration process, tailoring their experience to meet their specific interests and needs. This flexibility ensures a personalized and enriching conference experience.
In addition to the main conference, attendees can opt for pre-conference events on February 21, 2024. These include a limited capacity "Farm Accounting Workshop with Quicken®" and a workshop focused on succession planning titled "Transferring the Farm’s Legacy."
For those in the Fort Wayne area on the evening of February 21, 2024, an optional evening dinner is available for an additional fee, providing an excellent networking opportunity.
