Purdue DTC is hosting its annual Field Scout Intern Training on two convenient dates: May 20 and May 22, 2025. Both days will cover the same material, allowing participants to select the session that best fits their schedule.
This one-day training is perfect for students beginning summer agronomy internships. It provides foundational knowledge in corn and soybean growth and development, basic field terminology, and essential pest identification techniques.
Participants will gain practical insights and skills that are key to a successful field scouting experience. The training is hosted by experts from Purdue’s College of Agriculture Extension, including faculty from Agronomy, Botany & Plant Pathology, and Entomology departments.
