Indiana Grown is propelling its members to new heights by providing grants totaling $30,000 for participation in upcoming tradeshows. Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, expressed excitement over the opportunity this funding presents for Indiana Grown members to elevate their products and businesses.
Tradeshows serve as invaluable platforms for connecting with unique customers and business-to-business clients, but the associated costs often pose barriers for members. Indiana Grown's initiative aims to alleviate these challenges, ensuring Hoosier businesses receive the exposure they deserve and their Indiana-made products reach a broader audience.
The grant recipients represent a diverse array of businesses, from Atarraya Inc. dba Agua Blanca Shrimp in Indianapolis to TC Pretzel in Tell City. These awardees will showcase their products at expos spanning multiple states, providing them with a prime opportunity to promote their businesses and expand their networks.
Caroline Patrick, director of Indiana Grown, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to the grant opportunity, noting the high caliber of applicants. While only a select few were awarded this time, Indiana Grown is committed to expanding such opportunities for its membership in the future.
Through these tradeshow grants, Indiana Grown is not only supporting its members but also amplifying the presence of Hoosier businesses on a national scale, ensuring that the quality and innovation of Indiana-made products are recognized far and wide.
