The Posey County 4-H Program has officially opened enrollment for the 2025–2026 year, giving students the opportunity to join one of Indiana’s most recognized youth development programs. Enrollment began on October 1, with activities designed to promote leadership, learning, and community engagement among youth.
The 4-H program welcomes students in grades K–2 to join Mini 4-H at no cost, while members in grades 3–12 can enroll for $15 per member, with a family maximum fee of $45 for three or more children.
Families can register by visiting v2.4honline.com. To ensure smooth registration, participants are reminded that enrollment must be completed on a computer or laptop using Google Chrome, as the 4-H Online platform does not function properly on mobile phones.
Accurate email information is vital during registration. Families should confirm that the correct email address is listed in their family and individual profiles, as this will be used for all communications sent through 4-H Online.
Members are advised not to opt out of broadcast emails, as doing so will prevent important updates from being received. If emails are not coming through, families should check their spam folders or contact the office at 812-838-1331.
New members and volunteers can create a family profile in 4-H Online, then add youth members. Each youth must select at least one project during enrollment.
Adults interested in becoming approved 4-H volunteers are encouraged to call 812-838-1331 or email anweinza@purdue.edu to begin the application process. All volunteers must complete an initial application and verify their information annually per Purdue University guidelines to ensure member safety.
The 2025 Posey County 4-H Council Board of Directors includes:
- President – Denise Seibert Townsend
- Vice President – Arin Commens
- Treasurer – Kamhi Underwood
- Secretary – Amy Fisher
- Members – Andy Eisterhold, Hannah Lang, Jason Lyke, Michael Mohr, Daniel Motz, Chris Kaufman (Fairboard Rep.), and Theresa Sumbles.
Posey County 4-H continues to encourage students and families to participate, learn, and grow together while making lasting community connections.
