Washington County farmers are preparing to host the 4th Annual Tractor Ride, a community event designed to celebrate agriculture while raising funds for local youth programs.
The event will take place on August 1, 2026, and is expected to bring together farmers, tractor enthusiasts, and community supporters for a day of fellowship and agricultural pride.
The tractor ride will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds, located at 118 Fair Street in Salem, Indiana. Participants will travel together on a planned route while enjoying the opportunity to showcase tractors and support an important cause.
Organizers have announced that the registration fee will be $25 per tractor, with all proceeds benefiting Washington County 4-H. The fundraiser will help support activities and educational opportunities that encourage youth involvement in agriculture, leadership development, and community service.
In addition to the ride itself, participants will receive lunch at the fairgrounds. The event offers a chance for community members to connect with one another, celebrate local farming traditions, and contribute to programs that help young people learn valuable skills.
