Launch Your Ag Career at Purdue Fair

Launch Your Ag Career at Purdue Fair

By Andi Anderson

The College of Agriculture at Purdue University will host its Spring Career Fair on February 25, 2026, at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center.

This event is one of the largest career fairs of its kind, bringing together more than 250 employers from across agriculture, natural resources, food systems, plant and crop sciences, animal sciences, ag technology, and farm management.

The career fair is designed to help students and alumni explore employment opportunities and build professional networks within the agriculture sector.

Students attending the fair can meet industry partners, distribute resumes, and learn about full-time and internship positions.

The event welcomes all College of Agriculture students, as well as students from related majors across Purdue University and partner institutions. Employers attending the fair represent a wide range of career paths, giving students many options to explore based on their interests and goals.

First- and second-year students are encouraged to participate even if they are not yet seeking a job. Early exposure to career fairs helps them build confidence, learn about industry expectations, and practice communication skills that will support them throughout their academic and professional journeys.

For many students, attending this event becomes an important first step toward planning their future careers.

The career fair also provides valuable preparation resources. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Services Student Page, where they can find helpful tips on resume writing, professional dress, interviewing skills, and employer research.

Using these resources ensures they make a strong impression when speaking with recruiters.

The Spring Career Fair plays an important role in connecting education with real-world opportunities. By bringing employers directly to campus, Purdue supports students in discovering career options, understanding workplace expectations, and forming relationships that may lead to internships or long-term roles.

The event continues to strengthen the connection between academic learning and the growing needs of the agriculture industry.

This year’s fair promises meaningful interactions and opportunities for all participants as they prepare for successful futures in agriculture and related fields.
