Conner Prairie Corteva Team Up for Ag Innovation

By Andi Anderson

Conner Prairie, a well-known Indiana living history museum, has partnered with Corteva, a global agricultural company, to support agriculture education and innovation. This long-term partnership aims to connect visitors with the past, present, and future of farming through engaging exhibits and programs.

Corteva will serve as the presenting partner for Conner Prairie’s Food, Farm and Energy Experience (FFEE). This collaboration highlights how agriculture plays a key role in sustainable living and food security. It also celebrates Indiana’s deep farming roots while looking ahead to future advancements.

“This partnership honors Indiana’s agricultural roots while planting seeds for a more sustainable future,” said Norman Burns, President and CEO of Conner Prairie. “Together with Corteva, we are creating a space where guests can engage in the future of agriculture.”

Key highlights of this partnership include Corteva’s continued sponsorship of seasonal events like the Corn Maze and Sunflower Field through 2036. These events will offer fun and educational experiences for people of all ages.

Another major initiative is the development of a new immersive agriculture exhibit at Conner Prairie’s upcoming Museum Experience Center. Scheduled to open between 2026 and 2028, this exhibit will use storytelling and digital technology to bring modern agriculture to life.

The partnership will also create the FFEE Conservation Campus, a new project now in the planning stages. This destination will focus on educating guests about food production, farming techniques, and energy innovation.

Audrey Grimm, Corteva’s Senior Vice President, emphasized the importance of this mission: “It’s important that everyone understand where their food comes from and the vital role agriculture innovation plays in sustainably feeding our world.”

This collaboration aims to create lasting awareness about the challenges and opportunities in agriculture, inspiring future generations to appreciate and engage in sustainable farming and food systems.
