HELLO NATURE has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its BIONUTRIENTS facility in Wabash, Indiana.
This facility, the largest of its kind in the world, will produce 150,000 tons of organic fertilizers and other biosolutions, primarily using chicken manure sourced from MPS Egg Farms, a local partner.
The Wabash plant covers an area of 300,000 square feet and represents a $50 million investment. This facility is a joint venture between HELLO NATURE and MPS Egg Farms. It is designed with circular economy principles in mind and is optimized to minimize environmental impact.
The plant is expected to reach full production in six months and will supply high-quality organic fertilizers to North American markets, along with other specialty products created using HELLO NATURE’s proprietary technologies.
This new plant will expand HELLO NATURE’s presence in the U.S. and complement two existing facilities in Anderson, Indiana: a plant producing vegetal biostimulants and the Nello Bonini Innovation Hub, which focuses on research and development.
HELLO NATURE’s first organic fertilizer plant, ITALPOLLINA, in Verona, Italy, has recently undergone renovations to improve its blending capacity and production technology. ITALPOLLINA is also powered by SAFEDRYTM technology, ensuring that the products retain their beneficial microbes and organic nutrients.
Luca Bonini, CEO of HELLO NATURE, emphasized the importance of these developments: “2024 has been a gamechanger for our organic fertilizers business.
These investments will drive the future of HELLO NATURE and help address the industry’s challenges, including rising prices and input shortages. Our goal is to help farmers improve soil fertility and achieve higher yields in a sustainable way.”
HELLO NATURE’s innovative approach to organic fertilizers is set to reshape the agricultural industry by offering sustainable, high-quality solutions for modern farming.
