The Indiana Ag Gathering is set to bring together farmers, agricultural professionals, industry leaders, and rural communities for two days of education, networking, and leadership development.
Scheduled for December 11-12, the event will provide attendees with valuable opportunities to learn about current agricultural trends, build professional connections, and explore issues affecting the future of farming.
One of the major highlights of the event is a keynote presentation by Damian Mason, an agricultural economist, speaker, and industry commentator. His session, The Business of Agriculture - The 'A-tions' of Agriculture, will examine key factors shaping the agricultural sector, including population growth, regulation, immigration, innovation, inflation, and global market developments. The presentation aims to help attendees better understand the forces influencing modern agriculture and future business opportunities.
The event will also feature Chloe Anagnos Pierce, Director of Marketing and Communications at America's Future and Visiting Fellow at Independent Women's Forum. With extensive experience in digital communications, fundraising, marketing, and strategic outreach, she will provide valuable insights into communication and leadership in today's rapidly evolving environment.
Attendees can choose from several ticket options, including table sponsorships, speaker tables, leadership tables, and individual admission tickets. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations interested in supporting agricultural leadership programs and industry engagement activities.
Educational opportunities will play a major role throughout the gathering. Participants can attend breakout sessions presented by industry groups, including the Indiana Beef Cattle Association, Indiana State Poultry Association, and Indiana Pork. These sessions will focus on topics that are important to livestock producers and agricultural businesses.
A special networking session titled Networking for People Who Hate Networking will offer practical guidance for attendees who want to build meaningful professional relationships in a comfortable and low-pressure setting. Participants will learn effective communication techniques, conversation strategies, and confidence-building skills for professional events.
The event will also feature the Indiana Ag Gathering Market, developed in partnership with Indiana Grown. Visitors can explore vendor displays, agricultural organizations, educational exhibits, and information booths showcasing products, services, and resources available within the state's agricultural sector.
Additional highlights include the YF&AP Discussion Meet, educational breakout programs, announcement of the 2027 INFB Book of the Year, discussions on 2027 Statehouse agricultural priorities, and a silent auction benefiting the Farm Bureau Foundation.
Beyond educational programming, attendees will enjoy networking receptions, leadership gatherings, vendor marketplaces, and family-friendly activities available throughout the venue. The event serves as a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and celebrating the strength of Indiana agriculture while helping participants prepare for future opportunities and challenges in the farming industry.
