Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB) is preparing to host its annual state convention under a new name, the Indiana Ag Gathering, on December 12–13 at the French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, Indiana.
This refreshed event continues the tradition of the annual membership meeting and retreat but adds more opportunities for connection, collaboration, and celebrating those who power agriculture in the state.
The Indiana Ag Gathering will feature an inspiring keynote address from Damon West, bestselling author and philanthropist, who will speak on “The Power to Change Is Inside You.” Attendees will also enjoy a screening of World Without Cows, a documentary exploring the complexity of food systems and livestock.
Breakout sessions will cover timely agricultural topics such as farm lending questions, Ag in the Classroom resources, ag economy updates, energy diversification in Indiana, and county Farm Bureau activities.
These sessions provide practical knowledge while strengthening ties among members.
A highlight of the event is the Indiana Ag Gathering Market, featuring over 40 Indiana Grown vendors including local craftsmen, boutiques, and industry partners.
The market will also host the INFB Swag Silo, where registered attendees can collect free INFB merchandise. The market will be open to the public on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Special programming includes the Hoosier Breakfast presented by AgELECT, featuring Jane Becker, former chief of staff for President George H.W. Bush, as well as the state finals of the Young Farmers & Ag Professionals Discussion Meet competition.
The annual delegate session will include the election of the INFB vice president and discussions on federal policy priorities ahead of the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual meeting in January 2026.
President Randy Kron emphasized that the gathering continues INFB’s mission, offering members a chance to connect and share meaningful time together.
Registration links have been sent to members by email, and both members and non-members can register online at infb.org/AgGathering for the complete agenda and details.
