Indiana Farm Bureau county leaders from across the state will attend the organization’s Legislative Forum where they will have the opportunity to speak with legislators Jan. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eastern.
The day starts with an advocacy briefing and guest speakers including Karen Plaut, Purdue University Dean of Agriculture; Randy Kron, INFB president; and Indiana House and Senate legislative leaders. President Kron will discuss policy issues important to Indiana farmers, agribusiness professionals and rural citizens. Then, legislators will join INFB members for lunch.
The advocacy session and guest speaker portion of the Legislative Forum will begin at 9:30 a.m. and a luncheon with legislators will begin at noon at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
