Indiana FFA and 4-H announce State Horse and Pony CDE winners

Indiana FFA Association and Indiana 4-H celebrate the success of participants in the State Horse & Pony Career Development Event (CDE) held at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This event recognizes excellence in equine science selection, management, and production, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the equine industry.

In the Junior 4-H/FFA Division, the following teams emerged as top performers:

  • Putnam County (Team Black)
  • DeKalb County 4-H (JR 2)

Harrison County Lucky Horseshoes (Team 1)

  • LaPorte County 4-H

In the Senior 4-H Division, recognition goes to:

  • DeKalb County 4-H
  • Whitley County 4-H
  • Marshall County 4-H
  • Carroll Seniors

In the Senior FFA Division, the outstanding teams are:

  • Huntington North FFA
  • Danville FFA
  • Hamilton Southeastern FFA
  • Central Noble FFA

These results reflect the dedication and expertise of participants in equine science and management. The State Horse & Pony CDE provides a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills while fostering a passion for the equine industry. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
