Indiana FFA Association and Indiana 4-H celebrate the success of participants in the State Horse & Pony Career Development Event (CDE) held at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This event recognizes excellence in equine science selection, management, and production, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the equine industry.
In the Junior 4-H/FFA Division, the following teams emerged as top performers:
- Putnam County (Team Black)
- DeKalb County 4-H (JR 2)
Harrison County Lucky Horseshoes (Team 1)
In the Senior 4-H Division, recognition goes to:
- DeKalb County 4-H
- Whitley County 4-H
- Marshall County 4-H
- Carroll Seniors
In the Senior FFA Division, the outstanding teams are:
- Huntington North FFA
- Danville FFA
- Hamilton Southeastern FFA
- Central Noble FFA
These results reflect the dedication and expertise of participants in equine science and management. The State Horse & Pony CDE provides a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills while fostering a passion for the equine industry.
