This summer, the Indiana State Fair will welcome a new queen, Pilar Bravo, who was crowned Miss Indiana State Fair 2025. Bravo, representing Marion County, earned her title after competing against 84 contestants, each representing their home counties. She is only the fourth individual from Marion County to hold this honor in the pageant's 66-year history, with the last titleholder from Marion County being Ellen Turner in 1981.
The role of the Indiana State Fair Queen is significant, as the winner is tasked with promoting the fair throughout Indiana. The queen travels over 6,500 miles in June and July, visiting more than 40 county fairs to generate excitement for the upcoming event, which will run from August 1-17, 2025. The fair will be closed on Mondays.
The pageant also recognized the following individuals for their impressive performances:
- 1st Runner-up: Jordyn Leininger, Miss Kosciusko County
- 2nd Runner-up: Sophia Sullivan, Miss Ripley County
- 3rd Runner-up: Rebecca Brewer, Miss Elkhart County
- 4th Runner-up: Kelby Roberts, Miss Rush County
Other finalists included Olivia Siebert, Miss Morgan County; Karlie Lawson, Miss Shelby County; and Maiya Lewis, Miss Vigo County, among others.
Maggie Taylor, Miss Cass County, was named Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants.
