The USDA has announced exciting additions to the 101st Agricultural Outlook Forum, set for February 27-28, 2025. This event, themed "Meeting Tomorrow’s Challenges, Today," will host notable speakers, including Jeff Schmid and Governor Jim Pillen.

Jeff Schmid, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will deliver a plenary speech focusing on the macroeconomy and monetary policies affecting agriculture in the central U.S. His insights are particularly valuable given the region's extensive agricultural activities.

Governor Jim Pillen of Nebraska will speak at the dinner, sharing his strategic vision for positioning Nebraska at the forefront of a biobased economy, a move aimed at enhancing the state’s agricultural productivity through innovative practices.

The forum will cover a wide array of topics crucial to agriculture, including commodity prices, farm income, global trade, and climate change mitigation. Over 30 breakout sessions are planned, along with exhibits showcasing USDA-funded advancements.

Held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, the event promises extensive discussions on the future of agriculture, with both in-person attendance and live streaming available.
