Get ready for a major shakeup in the agricultural landscape! Two Indiana-based giants, Ceres Solutions Cooperative and Co-Alliance Cooperative, have officially merged to form Keystone Cooperative, a powerhouse serving farmers across four states. This historic union, effective March 1st, promises to deliver unparalleled customer experiences, enhanced resources, and broader opportunities for its farmer-owners.
Keystone Cooperative will boast a colossal $3 billion annual revenue, serving customers in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois through four core divisions: Energy, Agronomy, Grain, and Swine and Animal Nutrition. With 1,700 dedicated personnel, Keystone is poised to streamline operations, leverage technology, and maximize efficiency, ultimately translating into better services and support for its farmer-owners.
The leadership team for this new venture brings a wealth of experience and expertise. Kevin Still, the current CEO of Co-Alliance, will take the helm as Keystone's president and CEO, with Jeff Troike, Ceres Solutions' CEO, stepping in as executive vice president. This dynamic duo, alongside Scott Logue, Co-Alliance's current executive vice president, will guide Keystone towards a prosperous future.
"This merger isn't just about numbers," said Kevin Still. "It's about uniting two legacy cooperatives, brimming with financial strength and a shared passion for supporting farmers. Together, we'll navigate the ever-evolving agricultural landscape, ensuring our members have the resources and tools they need to thrive."
The path to Keystone wasn't paved overnight. A successful joint venture, Endeavor Ag & Energy, proved the collaborative potential of these two cooperatives. Now, Keystone will capitalize on this synergy, offering a wider range of services and expertise to its members.
With its headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, Keystone Cooperative is poised to become a pillar of the agricultural community, serving farmers across four states with dedication and innovation. This merger marks a new era, promising exciting possibilities and a brighter future for farmers in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.
