Indiana ag teacher wins Golden Owl Award

In recognition of his exceptional dedication to agricultural education, Ron Noll, an agricultural teacher at Prairie Heights High School, was awarded the prestigious title of Indiana’s 2023-2024 Ag Educator of the Year.

Noll's achievement was celebrated during the Indiana FFA State Convention, where he received the Golden Owl Award, sponsored by Nationwide in partnership with Indiana FFA and Farm Credit Mid-America.

Among eight finalists for the Golden Owl Award®, Ron Noll stood out for his profound impact on both his students and the community.

Described as a teacher who goes above and beyond, Noll's teaching philosophy integrates diverse disciplines while nurturing strong relationships and instilling values of respect and discipline.

Noll's recognition includes not only the title of Indiana’s Ag Educator of the Year but also the prestigious Golden Owl Award trophy and a $3,000 donation from Nationwide to support agricultural education efforts at Prairie Heights High School.

His commitment to student success and community engagement has made him a role model in Indiana’s agricultural education sector.
