Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB) has introduced a new grant program designed to support women-owned agriculture-related small businesses in Indiana. The organization will award up to five grants of $1,000 each to help fund professional development, training programs, technology improvements, or equipment upgrades.
The initiative was launched in recognition of the International Year of the Woman Farmer and aims to promote growth and success among women entrepreneurs in agriculture and agribusiness.
Eligible applicants must be at least 21 years old and represent a woman-owned business connected to the agricultural sector. Applications are open through August 15, 2026.
Grant recipients will be recognized at Indiana Farm Bureau’s Harvest Dinner on September 9 in Noblesville, Indiana. The event celebrates women in agriculture, offers networking opportunities, and will feature Natasha Cox, senior vice president of agricultural lending at Farm Credit Mid-America, as the keynote speaker.
The dinner is open to the public with advance registration required. A portion of registration proceeds will support the Janis E. Highley Memorial Fund through the Farm Bureau Foundation, benefiting leadership development and young farmer programs.
The application and more information can be found here. The deadline to apply is midnight on August 15, 2026.
