At the 2024 Indiana Farm Bureau (INFB) State Convention, delegates unanimously reelected Randy Kron as president. Kron, who was unopposed in the election, expressed his gratitude during his acceptance speech, highlighting the importance of teamwork in achieving success for the organization and agriculture.

Kron has served as INFB president since 2015 and previously held the position of vice president for 14 years. His leadership has been crucial in advancing the organization’s mission, which includes advocating for agriculture and creating opportunities for members to get involved in new ways.

“We’ve achieved many successes, such as nine consecutive years of membership growth,” said Kron in his speech to county leaders. “These accomplishments are a result of the hard work and dedication of our staff and volunteers across all 92 counties who are committed to agriculture’s future.”

In addition to his role with INFB, Kron serves on the board of the American Farm Bureau Federation, representing the Midwest region. He is also involved in the Indiana Grain Indemnity Corporation and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

In 2024, he was named one of the state’s most influential leaders by Indianapolis Business Journal Media’s “Indiana 250.”

Kron and his wife, Joyce, run a farm in Vanderburgh County, where they raise yellow corn, white corn, soybeans, and wheat with their son, Ben. His leadership continues to guide INFB as it expands its influence and ensures the future success of Indiana’s agricultural community.
