The U.S. Embassy has launched Restaurant Week 2024 - Fresh From the USA in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to promote U.S. agricultural products.

Running from December 6 to December 15, the event features top Phnom Penh restaurants offering prix-fixe menus and promotions that showcase U.S. ingredients in various cuisines.

This event is a celebration of the diversity of American agricultural products and how they enhance global cuisines. Participating restaurants highlight U.S. products like meat, dairy, and fresh produce, allowing customers to experience the rich flavors of American food culture.

The initiative also provides an opportunity to support local restaurants in Phnom Penh and emphasizes how U.S. ingredients can be incorporated into diverse dishes.

Chargé d’Affaires Bridgette Walker stated, "U.S. Restaurant Week is an exciting event that celebrates the diversity and creativity of the culinary scene in Cambodia." The goal is not only to showcase the versatility of U.S. ingredients but also to foster a greater understanding of American agriculture among Cambodian food enthusiasts and professionals.

Throughout the event, Phnom Penh’s culinary scene will come alive with innovative dishes and creative uses of U.S. agricultural products.

The participating chefs, food importers, and local food enthusiasts are all proud to bring American ingredients to the table and introduce them to new audiences.

The event is also supported by key U.S. agricultural organizations like the U.S. Meat Export Federation and the California Milk Advisory Board.

With both industry leaders and culinary professionals working together, Restaurant Week 2024 promises to be a memorable occasion that strengthens the bond between Cambodia and U.S. agricultural exports.
