Logan Springstun of Warrick County emerged as the winner of the 2024 Indiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ag Professionals (YF&AP) Discussion Meet.
Held on December 13-14 during the INFB annual state convention in French Lick, the competition involved dynamic group discussions addressing major agricultural issues.
Participants discussed critical challenges facing American farmers, such as land access, farm diversification, succession planning, and energy solutions. Topics included strategies for young farmers to explore new revenue sources and ways to strengthen their businesses.
The competition also focused on how young members could increase their involvement in county Farm Bureaus and enhance their long-term sustainability.
Springstun excelled through four rounds of competition, including the final round, where contestants debated how the Farm Bureau can provide greater opportunities for modern farmers. His well-rounded knowledge and practical insights led him to victory.
