Farmers in White County and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to improve their crop management knowledge at the Corn and Soybean PARP Workshop scheduled for January 12, 2026.
This educational program is organized through Purdue Extension and will be held at the White County 4-H Building in Reynolds, Indiana.
The workshop will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Registration will begin between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., allowing participants time to check in before sessions begin.
The event is part of the Northwest District Extension education efforts and is supported by the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology.
This program is designed to provide farmers with the latest research-based information that can be applied directly to corn and soybean production. One of the main topics will focus on hybrid and fertilizer interaction using 2025 research results.
These findings will help growers understand how different fertilizer programs affect crop performance and yield.
Another key session will highlight soybean management practices and stress reactions. Farmers will learn how soybeans respond to environmental pressures such as weather changes and field conditions.
This knowledge will support better decision-making when managing crops during challenging seasons.
The workshop will also include a 2026 regulatory update. This session will explain new rules and guidelines that may affect farming operations. Understanding these changes will help producers remain compliant while continuing to run efficient and profitable farms.
The program will be led by an Extension educator who will share expert guidance and answer questions from participants. This interactive learning approach allows farmers to clarify concerns and gain confidence in using new practices.
Overall, the White County Corn and Soybean PARP Workshop offers a valuable learning experience for farmers seeking to strengthen crop management skills.
By attending, participants can gain updated research insights, improve field practices, and prepare for upcoming regulatory changes that influence modern agriculture.
