Alltech Reshapes US Leadership for Growth

By Jamie Martin

Alltech has announced a series of leadership appointments designed to strengthen its U.S. specialty ingredients business and enhance support for customers across the livestock sector.

The company said the changes align its leadership team around innovation, customer partnership, and commercial excellence. The goal is to help customers succeed in an increasingly complex agricultural marketplace while positioning Alltech for long-term growth.

“This structure sets us up to serve our customers with agility for the next five to 10 years and beyond,” said Dr. Mark Lyons, president and CEO of Alltech. “It is not enough to solve today's challenges. We must anticipate what comes next, accelerate innovation and ensure we are positioned to meet our customers' needs as they emerge. By putting the right leaders and teams in place today, we are building the foundation for long-term success.”

Andy Rash has been named vice president of U.S. specialty ingredients and will lead the company's U.S. leadership team. Rash has more than 20 years of experience in agriculture and has worked across animal nutrition, grain, agronomy, and business development.

“Alltech's technology and focus on innovation are second to none, and I have never worked alongside a team with such deep passion for our industry and commitment to customer success,” said Andy Rash, vice president (U.S.), specialty ingredients. “Together, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers navigate an increasingly complex marketplace, solve industry challenges and capture new opportunities for growth.”

According to Alltech, the new organizational structure will improve the company's ability to anticipate industry changes and develop solutions that meet future customer needs.

The company has also named experienced leaders to key livestock and customer-focused divisions. Dr. Luke Miller will oversee the U.S. dairy business, while Laurentia van Rensburg will lead U.S. beef operations. Dr. Curtis Novak will manage the poultry segment, and Mark Hulsebus will direct the pork business.

Additional appointments include CJ Tanderup, who will manage relationships with national and regional mills and cooperatives, and Jim Bannerman, who will lead national account initiatives.

The new leadership team combines experience in animal science, veterinary medicine, livestock production, nutrition, sales, and customer service. Their backgrounds span dairy, beef, poultry and pork industries, providing broad expertise to support producers and feed partners.
