Nominations are now open for the 2025 AgriVision Award, Indiana’s top honor for agricultural excellence. This award celebrates individuals, businesses, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the state’s agriculture industry.
Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture are inviting nominations from across the state. This prestigious recognition highlights leadership, innovation, and long-term commitment in farming, agribusiness, and related sectors.
The AgriVision Award is open to Indiana residents and organizations who have demonstrated exemplary efforts in improving and advancing the state’s agriculture. Nominees can include farmers, ag educators, agri-tech innovators, researchers, or agribusiness leaders.
The goal of the award is to honor those who not only excel in production but also contribute to the growth of Indiana agriculture through mentorship, innovation, sustainability, and education. Past recipients have included multi-generational farming families, forward-thinking entrepreneurs, and non-profits dedicated to rural development.
Lieutenant Governor Beckwith emphasized the importance of celebrating those who help build a stronger and more sustainable future for Indiana agriculture. “The AgriVision Award shines a light on those who move agriculture forward in meaningful ways,” he stated.
The nomination process is simple and accessible. Forms are available through the Indiana State Department of Agriculture website. Community members, agricultural groups, and industry leaders are encouraged to submit entries.
Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee, and winners will be announced later in the year. This honor not only brings statewide recognition but also reinforces Indiana’s commitment to strengthening its farming community.
For more information or to submit a nomination, visit the Indiana State Department of Agriculture website. Entries must be submitted before the official deadline, which will be announced soon.
