The Indiana Ethanol Producers Association has officially joined the American Carbon Alliance (ACA), a coalition focused on advancing carbon capture initiatives and promoting cleaner energy across the United States.

Announced on September 6, this partnership reflects the growing momentum of ethanol trade associations nationwide as they come together to support sustainable energy solutions.

Tom Buis, CEO of the American Carbon Alliance, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership, highlighting the shared commitment to innovation in ethanol production and sustainable energy.

“We are excited to welcome the Indiana Ethanol Producers Association into our alliance,” Buis said. “Their dedication to advancing ethanol production and promoting cleaner energy solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to create a sustainable energy future for the United States.”

The Indiana Ethanol Producers Association has been a leader in promoting bioethanol within the state, driving efforts to offer consumers low-cost and environmentally friendly fuel options.

Their work has positioned Indiana as a key player in the bioethanol industry, contributing significantly to both the state’s economy and its environmental initiatives.

Tim Phelps, spokesperson for the Indiana Ethanol Producers Association, emphasized the importance of this partnership in driving the future of ethanol and carbon capture.

“The Indiana Ethanol Producers Association is proud to be part of the American Carbon Alliance,” Phelps stated. “As we look to the future, the role of carbon capture and ethanol production is more crucial than ever. By joining this alliance, we are reinforcing our dedication to enhancing Indiana’s agricultural economy and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.”

The alliance between the Indiana Ethanol Producers Association and the American Carbon Alliance marks a significant step forward in efforts to reduce carbon emissions and support clean energy initiatives.

By combining resources and expertise, the partnership aims to drive innovation and build the infrastructure needed to achieve their shared goals.

This collaboration reflects a broader trend in the agricultural and energy sectors, where organizations are increasingly uniting to support sustainable practices that benefit the environment and the economy.

Through such alliances, the ethanol industry continues to play a pivotal role in creating a greener future for all.
