Publix Truck Driver Wins Division at National Truck Driving Championships



Publix Truck Driver David Guinn earned national recognition when he won the five-axle division at the American Trucking Associations National Truck Driving Championships in Indianapolis.

Guinn began working for Publix in 2000. Before his win in Indianapolis, Guinn competed in the 2022 Florida State Truck Driving Championship, where he won first place in the five-axle class and was named the state's overall grand champion.

"David is a dedicated Publix associate and a highly skilled professional driver," said Publix Vice President of Distribution Mike Lester. "We're extremely proud of him and his achievements in both the state and national competitions. Our drivers have the responsibility of not only delivering products to our stores to serve our customers, but also prioritizing and promoting safe driving. We are grateful for all they do."
